How to Visit Vancouver Attractions Cheaper

So you've decide to visit Vancouver, but you are living on a budget.  Having personally been there, I know that Vancouver doesn't have to cost much at all to visit! In fact it can be one of the cheapest destinations you visit this year!

Save Money on Vancouver Restaurants
One of the best ways not to spend money on food during your stay is to skip eating out all together! There is a wide range of grocery stores available, many with even prepared food.  Some chains include Safeway, No Frills, and many smaller supermarkets.

In Safeway they sell prepared food for a whole lot less than it costs for going out to eat. How to save even more? Trying printing out coupons for Canada before you come.  Most local stores accept these.

One of the best ways to not spend a lot visiting the local attractions is to get printable coupons for Vancouver

Entertainment.com sells a book filled with discounts and more for Vancouver attractions and restaurants for about $19.

Save Money On Vancouver Transportation
Though there are plenty of taxis around eager to take your hard earned loonies (Canada's local currency), you'd be better off taking the local buses. Most buses accept coins so make sure to have plenty of coins on hand.

You can even take a bus straight from the airport so you won't have to spend more than $60 just getting to the city centre!

You can also get to local destinations and cities by taking the local greyhound bus located downtown.
