How to Pressure Cook Texas Style Brisket

    • 1). Mix together beer, onion, lime juice, molasses, chili powder, tomatoes and salt and pepper in a large glass bowl.

    • 2). Add beef brisket to the bowl, and coat it well with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. and allow it to sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

    • 3). Add 2 to 3 tbsp. vegetable oil to pressure cooker. Heat the oil over medium-high heat.

    • 4). Place the meat in the pressure cooker, uncovered, and brown both sides.

    • 5). Pour marinade from the bowl into the pressure cooker, over the meat.

    • 6). Cover pressure cooker with lid and bring to high pressure. Cook for 1 to 2 hours.

    • 7). Allow brisket to sit for approximately 20 minutes before serving.
