Moms - Are You Stuck in a Rut?
Albert Einstein defined insanity as, "Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Some of the areas that moms often want their circumstances to be different are in having more support with taking care of the kids or running the household, feeling appreciated for all that they do as a mom and being more fulfilled in anything from their career, their relationship with their husband or in their role as a parent.

We cannot wait around for our husband, family members or friends to change so that our reality changes.
We have to take the initiative of doing things differently.
Having the awareness of what we can do differently is the first step of initiating change for the better.
If you consider what circumstances in your own life you would like to change, what can you imagine that you could do differently that would bring about change?If you would like more support with taking care of the kids and running the household, where could you begin to get more support?Begin by making a lost of all of the possibilities for more support.
Don't limit the list by thinking that one of your ideas is not possible.
List them all and you can edit the list after you are done.
Once you have made your list of the possibilities for change you can begin to take action and move forward.
You will need to stay open and focused on what is possible rather than on the challenges that may come up from doing things differently.
Since most people are adverse to change, it can be difficult and persistence is key.
You will need to be motivated towards your change rather than choosing to stay stuck in your rut.
One way to stay motivated and focused on making your changes is to get support from someone that shares your vision for change.
This could be your husband, a family member or a friend.
Whoever it is though, make certain that they are willing to fully support you in making the changes that will allow you to be happier and more fulfilled.
Allow them to keep you accountable for what action steps you have outlined that will get you to where you want to go.
With awareness, persistence and support you will make the changes you desire for greater happiness and more fulfillment and you will be on your way to getting out of your rut.
