Having Twins - Is it Really So Hard?

When you tell somebody that you are expecting twins, you will likely receive an answer like this: Oh! Twins! That's lot of work.
Good luck! But is it really so hard? In this article I will try to answer that question.
Having twins is not easy in the first days, but having a single child is not easy also, especially if he or she is your first baby.
The key point is to keep everything organized, writing down who eat at what hour, the time you changed diapers to each one, and other things you consider important.
Another important point is that the man has to help.
He has no choice with twins.
He must take turns with his wife to feed, change clothes and diapers, bath, and take them out in the strollers.
But with this two aspects covered, having twins should be a wonderful experience.
In addition, twins can represent less work than having two twins of different ages.
First of all, two non twins require two pregnancies and two different periods of time where you sleep few hours.
Also, when they grow up, they will have different interests and activities.
Twins will like similar activities, and can share most of the friends.
When you go to the doctor, you can take them together to the same doctor at the same time, because the examinations will be the same.
On the other hand, the economic implications should be considered.
Although it seems you will have to spend much more when you are having twins, it is not completely true.
Of course, at first you will have to buy two items of everything, strollers, beds, cribs, as time passes you will realize that you can save money.
There are lots of places where you can receive a discount if you buy for twins; you celebrate both birthdays on the same day and place, saving a lot of money.
In conclusion, having twins is not an easy task, but it is not the end of the world.
With a good organization and enough help twins will result a wonderful experience.
