How to Cut Large Concrete Pavers

    • 1). Lay out cutting lines on the concrete paver using a tape measure and a chalk box. Make sure all of the lines are straight to prevent the saw blade from binding. Lay the paver on a work surface that will allow you to make cuts without the blade hitting the surface.

    • 2). Prep the circular saw to cut concrete by installing a dry cut diamond blade. Inspect the circular saw for defects prior to using it to avoid injury.

    • 3). Rest the front tip of the circular saw table on the concrete paver. Adjust the diamond blade's cutting depth by adjusting the circular saw's table height.

    • 4). Line the circular saw blade up to the snapped chalk line on your paver. Power up the circular saw by squeezing the trigger located on the saw's handle.

    • 5). Slowly slide the circular saw across the concrete paver, allowing the diamond blade to cut into concrete. Don't force the circular saw into the concrete, which could cause the blade to bind.

    • 6). Tap the concrete paver's cut corners with a hammer to chip away material so that it matches the rest of the paver edges if necessary.
