- 1). Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and set a tablespoon of butter aside to soften. If you do not have enough preparation time, place the butter in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds until it is slightly melted.
- 2). Add garlic powder, wheat flour and cheese to a medium-sized bowl. Mix with a spoon. Add the softened butter to the mixture and combine.
- 3). Blend the milk into the mixture with an electric mixer on its lowest setting. Keep blending until you've combined the ingredients into a soft dough.
- 4). Sprinkle flour on a piece of parchment paper. Roll the dough to a thickness of one-quarter inch. Use a cookie cutter to cut the dough into shapes and place them on a cookie sheet greased with Crisco.
- 5). Bake the garlic treats in the oven for approximately 15 minutes, remove and let them to cool. Place the garlic treats in an airtight bag or plastic container and store them in the refrigerator. Discard uneaten treats after two weeks.
