A Look at the Zeno Acne Treatment Device

When discussing acne treatment options, most products on the market are similar to each other.
Zeno is an example of one product option that is not like other, more typical systems.
Instead of being a cream, lotion, or medication at all, it is instead a device that targets acne by directly applying heat to the blemish.
This article will take a look at the Zeno approach to fighting and curing acne and will examine how it works versus other, more traditional means.
Zeno is produced by the Zeno Corporation, a company founded in 2002 by Dr.
Charles Conrad and his brother Robert.
This corporation developed the ClearPoint technology that is used in the Zeno device, and has received a rating of F from the Better Business Bureau for failing to address customer complaints or refund their money (presumably for defective or unsatisfying products).
The Zeno device works by applying a specific degree of heat to the blemish via direct contact.
The principle behind this is that heat applied carefully will destroy the pimple without damaging the skin.
Zeno accomplishes this by carefully controlling the amount of heat transmitted through the special treatment tip (that must be replaced on a regular basis).
Zeno claims that one treatment will be able to eradicate the pimple or blemish most of the time.
This product can be purchased online but cannot be bought in stores.
A basic Zeno treatment package (with 60 tips and a charger) will run $129 plus shipping.
A Zeno Mini (40 treatment tips) is $89, and the Zeno Pro (90 treatment tips, charger, and leather case) is $159.
As an acne treatment supplement, Zeno works well for many people.
Over half of the users who reviewed the product online gave it favorable ratings, saying it greatly reduced the amount of time that their blemishes were visible.
It also reduces the amount of pain some experience from blemishes.
Those who do not like the product claim that it simply does not work.
Part of this is due to Zeno being ineffective against blackheads, whiteheads, and cysts (as it is designed to be used at the first sign of a blemish).
The cost is prohibitive for others as well.
The fact that Zeno replaces creams and lotions that can be messy is one characteristic in its favor, as is its ease of use.
This makes Zeno a popular alternative to traditional acne treatment methods.
Zeno is not, however, designed to be the sole acne treatment method at ones disposal (as stated on the Zeno website), and is no substitute for medicated care.
