How to Cut With a Guillotine
- 1). Hold the guillotine so that your thumb is through the top hole and is set to push the blade down onto the cigar. Keep your fingers clear of the blade.
- 2). Place the cigar into the lower hole -- the one over which the blade will slide -- and position it so that the cut is made in the desired location.
- 3). Close the guillotine with a single strong motion so as to make the cleanest cut. The blade lops off the end of the cigar and makes it ready for smoking.
