How to Reschedule Your MCAT Exam
- 1). Determine the new date for testing. The AAMC publishes a list of test dates and registration periods on its website. Look at the "Test Dates" column to determine available MCAT test dates. Refer to the color of the test date to ensure that the time of the test fits in with your personal schedule.
- 2). Determine the new location for testing. Students may reschedule MCAT testing locations in addition to test dates. Refer to the AAMC list of testing locations on its website to change the location for the test. The availability of testing centers changes at times, so confirm the availability of the testing site with the AAMC when rescheduling.
- 3). Determine the deadline date. Look at the "Regular Registration Closes" column to see the deadline date to cancel or reschedule a MCAT.
- 4). Prepare a VISA or MasterCard credit or debit card to pay the rescheduling fee. The AAMC does not accept other payment methods.
- 5). Contact the AAMC before the regular registration date to confirm the desired MCAT registration changes. Students can reach the AAMC by mail, phone or email. Use the following contact information:
