Is This The Death of Internet Marketing?
I know this is going to start quite obviously, but it's the best way of getting the point across clearly.
The Internet is constantly evolving and changing.
Okay lots of you are now saying 'Tell me something I don't know' - well that I'm also about to do but first things first.
Internet Marketing and Affiliate marketing used to be easy - it was the good old days where you could just put up a very ordinary looking basic website and it wouldn't be too long before you could have it published and earning you a decent income.
Those days have now long gone.
These sites were generally an Affiliate based set-up where little or no experience was needed, no Mentor or training necessary, just follow a template step by step, then just copy and repeat.
Well like I've already said, those days are most certainly over.
I'm sure that I don't need to tell most of you that these day's things couldn't be more different.
No longer can you just throw anything at the Internet and sit back watching the money roll in, no matter what 'some' are telling you this 'Push Button Money Making Software' will not make you a million per year, it will probably never make you a cent.
Any decent Mentor or experienced Online Entrepreneur will tell you the same.
I could start naming companies and Individuals that have been responsible for exploiting the new Online Entrepreneurs but that's not what this article is for.
The fact is a lot of what is available out there is old information, or just bad information at its worst.
There is a plethora of rehashed software and literature that is no longer valid, just old out of date information that is repackaged and sold as new.
Over-hyped push button traffic killing it's Rubbish! Stay Away From It! The Internet or Internet Marketing, as we know it now is dying.
I know that sounds dramatic but it that's basically what is happening.
That's why it has become harder and harder to do any business Online - this is something that is catastrophic to a 'New Entrepreneur' just starting out.
It's not your fault that you are finding it so difficult to replace an Income or to be able to sack your job in search of a better work life balance.
The drop out rate for start up Internet or Affiliate Marketers is huge and shorter in time-span than ever before.
Most are gone within the first three months and that number almost doubling by month six - pretty terrible statistics.
The old school system of email marketing is changing because the 'Novelty' of the email has now worn out.
People used to look forward to getting emails, it was a novelty.
These days email becomes Spam very easily and delivery rates are as low as 10% delivery and even fewer being read.
We are now at the 'Tipping Point' or have reached 'Critical Mass' if you prefer but this 'Death of Internet Marketing' isn't all bad news, far from it.
This is going to become a watershed moment for the industry, getting rid of a lot of the bad and the old information that has been peddled and pushed out to us all.
It's a great time to be well informed, get a Mentor and learn to market correctly and get yourself well positioned to make a lot of money, but to make money ethically and fairly.
The Internet and Affiliate Marketing Industry is I hope going to finally become the well-respected Industry it should always have been, but not for all, just the well informed...
