The line of Gas Grill at Home Depot Stores for 2014

11. Brinkmann Medallion 5-Burner Model# 810-4580-SB

Yet again, a big Brinkmann Gas Grill from Home Depot. This version is more basic than previous models that have been stuffed with smokers, dual side burners, and extras. Of course with five burners and a "sear" side burner, this still isn't a simple grill. This model is designed to look impressive until it has been purchased. The heat output is low, most of the extras are just gimmicks, but the price is cheap and the size impressive.More »

12. Char-Broil Gourmet 3-Burner TRU-Infrared Model# 463251713

In 2012, Char-Broil brought all its various infrared products under the TRU-Infrared brand name. This grill uses the same technology as previous years RED products with a little more power in the burners to reduce the preheat time. The temperature range of this grill and preheat time is typical of most gas grills. The advantage of this technology is that it seldom flare-ups and is more efficient than standard grills. The shortcoming is the infrared emitter. The gas burners focus their heat at a porcelain coated metal plate. Since metal expands and porcelain doesn't, the emitter is typically the first part to fail.More »

16. KitchenAid 3-Burner Gas Grill Model# 720-0787D

The KitchenAid 3-burner is a classic gas grill with specifications similar to many of the better grills in this price range. Don't buy this grill because of the KitchenAid name. KitchenAid didn't design, manufacture, and doesn't support this grill. Aside from that, this isn't a bad grill for around $500USD (available for much more in some locations). Of course it isn't a great grill either.More »

17. Kitchenaid 30-Inch 4-Burner Gas Grill Model# 720-0745B

This is a big, shiny, gas grill with the KitchenAid name stamped right in the middle of the lid. For around $600USD this 4-burner grill has a good side burner and a lot of shiny albeit low grade stainless steel up front. While not entire made of this type of stainless, this grill will certainly catch the eye.More »
