How to Decorate a Hotel Room for a Bachelorette Party

    • 1). Select an overall theme. A theme helps focus the decor and gives people an idea of what is in store for the evening. For instance, for a tame bachelorette party theme, such as a manicure and massage night, you may want to just decorate with streamers and have everyone dress in pajamas. Other playful themes for bachelorette parties could include Mardi Gras or burlesque night. Include feather boas and glittery masks on table tops. Display a sexy corset on the hotel bed and hang Mardi Gras beads from all the lamps in the room.

    • 2). Cover the room in pink and glitter. Many bachelorette parties have a pink color scheme as it is a very girly color. If you don't have a particular theme, fill the room with pink decor including hot pink balloons and candy. Anything that glitters and sparkles also add an extra-girly element to the party. Sprinkle glitter confetti on table surfaces and place faux crystals all over the room. Of course, if the bride absolutely detests pink, use other colors that still work for girl decor, such as purple and red.

    • 3). Add racy elements to the room if the bride is comfortable with it. Many bachelorette parties include raunchier elements if the bride and her friends are okay with that. This includes suggestive decor, balloons and toys. Talk to the bride first to ensure she is all for this type of party, and if so, don't hesitate to include these elements so that she will have the night she always wanted -- and won't soon forget.
