Wall GE Oven Has Error Codes F7 F0

    F0 Error Code

    • The F0 error code generally indicates that there is a problem with the oven control touch pad or the oven control panel, called the ERC. While some skilled homeowners may be able to identify and resolve this issue by opening the oven and removing the electronic ribbon attached to the ERC, most homeowners are better off calling a service technician to perform this service and identify if it is the touch pad or the ERC that needs to be repaired.

    F7 Error Code

    • The F7 error code typically indicates that the oven key panel is not operating correctly. While this may be resolved by resetting the oven, if the error code occurs even after the oven is reset, GE should be contacted for a service call to replace the key panel.

    Reset

    • Try to reset your GE wall oven by disconnecting power to the unit and waiting 30 seconds. Restore power and wait to see if the error code occurs again. It may take up to an hour for the error code to return. If other oven selections are made, the oven operates normally and the error code does not return, the issue can be considered resolved.

    Service Call

    • If the error code returns after the oven has been reset, GE recommends that the power to the oven be disconnected at the circuit breaker. Leave it disconnected until a service technician is able to inspect and repair or replace any necessary components on the oven responsible for the error.
