How do I Shop for Women's Sports Bras?

    Consider Your Sport

    • Think about how your body moves when you are playing your sport. High-impact sports like jogging and tennis call for more support than low-impact activities like yoga. If your exercise program includes a variety of impacts, then select a bra for each.

    Know Your Body Type

    • Just as with regular bras, the curvier we are, the more support we need. This rule of thumb is even more important when we are exercising, especially during high-impact activities.

    Find a Style You Like

    • While the most important feature of a sports bra is providing comfortable support, nowadays we also have plenty of style choices to suit our personal preferences: with underwire or without, front or back closures and T-backs or regular styles. Some are even constructed as part of a tank or camisole for maximum simplicity and comfort.

    Be picky About Fit

    • Your breasts should feel completely supported when you jump up and down, while the rest of you has complete freedom of movement. You should be able to breathe freely and deeply without effort.
