- 1). Mix a paste of about 3 parts baking soda to 1 part water in a bowl. Stir the mixture with a spoon and you should get a consistency of creamy peanut butter.
- 2). Dip either a nylon scrub brush or an old toothbrush into the paste depending on the area you need to clean. When cleaning thin grout lines and corners of walls, the toothbrush works best.
- 3). Scrub over the grout until you remove all of the residue. The baking soda quickly cuts through buildup and will not damage tile or grout of any kind.
- 4). Wipe down the tile and grout with a damp cleaning mop to collect the paste residue and let your tile and grout air dry.
