How to Decorate a Newborn Baby's Room for a Girl With Winnie the Pooh
- 1). Pick a theme for the room. There are a lot of ways to go that revolve around Winnie the Pooh. You can focus on Pooh and the honeybees, Rabbit's garden or Poohs friend's like Piglet and Roo.
- 2). Choose a color scheme. A popular choice for a Pooh room is sky blue with clouds. This can look more like a boy's room than a girl's room if you're not careful, but if you prefer this scheme, make it more feminine by including a lot of pink as an accent color and using imagery like flowers and rainbows. Alternately, choose a solid color for your walls, such as pale yellow, pink or neutral tan. Add splashes of pastel colors in the decor and art, such as mint green, lavender and sky blue for accents.
- 3). Paint a mural on an accent wall, door or over the crib if desired. This can really bring your child's room to Pooh Corner. Print coloring page images onto transparency paper and use a projector to cast the images onto the wall. Once you have adjusted the projector so that the image is where you want it, trace it with a pencil and paint it.

Paint them a pastel color and, when dry, dot them with small Pooh bear stickers. Another idea is to convert a big Pooh-style honey jar into a lamp base and add a shade painted with Pooh images. Use your imagination to put a personal touch on the room and tie the look together.
