- 1). Ensure that your PC and your PlayStation 3 are connected to the same router. The two must be sharing the same Internet connection to link.
- 2). Open Windows Media Player. This feature only works with Windows Media Player 11 or later. Download and install the latest release if needed.
- 3). Click the "Library" tab and select "Media Sharing." Check "Share Media."
- 4). Click the check box next to the PlayStation 3 to enable sharing between the PC and the PlayStation. Anything you can access from Windows Media Player, you can now access on your PlayStation 3. This includes video, songs, photos, and streaming online content.
