How to Remove Grease From an Alligator Purse

- 1). Remove congealed grease from the purse by carefully scooping it off with a plastic spoon. Blot liquefied grease off the exotic leather with a cloth.
- 2). Sprinkle talcum powder over the lingering grease. Let the talcum powder sit on the grease overnight.
- 3). Hold the alligator purse over a trash can and gently brush the talcum powder off the hide with a clean, dry cloth.
- 4). Moisten a lint-free cloth with cool water and wipe any lingering talcum powder off the alligator purse.
- 5). Clean the purse with a cleaner approved for alligator leather as you normally would. Buff the purse with a lint-free cloth dampened with conditioner approved for alligator leather.
