How to Draw Freckles on a Face
- 1). Determine where you would like to add freckles. Choose various areas in order to get a more believable look. Do not be afraid to draw freckles in shaded areas.
- 2). Use the 2B pencil to scribble some graphite on the extra piece of paper. Rub one end of the blending stump into the graphite until its tip is covered.
- 3). Use the blending stump to lay down small, dark areas where the large freckles will be. Vary the size and shape of the freckles as you draw them; no two freckles are the same.
- 4). Use the blending stump to lay down the smaller and less prominent freckles, now that there is not as much graphite left on it.
- 5). Use the kneadable eraser to clean up any mistakes. Use the clean end of the blending stump to smooth out areas as necessary.
