Superfood aroniaberry smoothie recipe with coconut recipe - Superfood smoothies



This is an anti-oxidant packed smoothie full of the superfood power of aroniaberries, which are known to have even more age-defying anti-oxidants than blueberries. Add even more superfoods to this smoothie by drizzling in a touch of flax oil, adding a scoop of hemp protein powder, or tossing in a handful of your favorite leafy greens to turn it into a green smoothie (I like the neutral flavor but super-green power of lacinato kale in my green smoothies, but regular kale, spinach, chard and baby bok choy are always good too).

And of course, if you prefer a dairy-free and vegan smoothie, use soy yogurt and replace the honey with another sweetener (either brown rice syrup or agave nectar) or omit it all together.
