- 1). Remove the vacuum cleaner from your camper van and place your steam cleaner in the vehicle.
- 2). Divide your camper's upholstery into sections and clean it one section at a time.
- 3). Spray the cushions with steam from a distance of about 6 inches.
- 4). Remove any stains by holding a cloth at one side of the mark and directing steam onto the other side using the concentrator tool. Direct the steam from the side, not above the stain, and it should come off onto the cloth.
- 5). Attach the upholstery tool covered with a microfiber cloth to the steam cleaner. Hold in the steam trigger and pass it back and forth over the cushions and upholstery. Change the cloth frequently. Use only low to medium steam power. The microfiber cloth should be hot and moist but not wet.
- 1). Switch off the steam cleaner and remove its plug from the socket.
- 2). Take the steam cleaner out of the camper van and replace it with your vacuum.
- 3). Thoroughly vacuum the cushions and upholstery to remove any debris loosened by the steam.
