Such is the story posted on April 1, 2013 in the Corporate News of Philippine Prudential's website released by Corporate Communication. Philippine Prudential Life had its "Bakasyon Grande" promotion, now on its third run, which was awarded to Ms. Maricar G. Verano. The awarding ceremony and turn-over was held at Makati in the company's sales and marketing office. The winner, Ms. Verano, won a trip to Macau with a pocket money of 20,000 pesos. She was approached at the Prudential Life branch in SM North Edsa by a company agent and then was invited for a presentation of a product. The
same with other potential clients, Ms. Maricar Verano did not need to buy anything from the company products or whatsoever in order for her to qualify for the raffle.

There are also other ongoing promotions with prizes from Philippine Prudential Life such as a brand new car that is only available to anyone who attends Philippine Prudential's presentation of products.

The promotion with a brand new car as a prize is called "Autohan Bilangan," which is on its fourth run. It was awarded to a seaman, Mr. Raymond D. Masilang, from Rosario, Batangas, who just went to SM Fairview for an errand. Mr. Masilang was approached by a company representative and was invited for a product presentation. The winner was not required to buy anything in order to qualify for the raffle. He was awarded at Philippine Prudential Life's Megamall Sales Office in Mandaluyong City. The car that he won was a brand new Honda City. He stated, "Hindi ako makapaniwala. Itong blessing na ito, hindi ko makakalimutan. (I could not believe my luck. I will never forget having been given this blessing.)" He was shocked the first time he heard the announcement and was thankful for the company.

There are other ways where Philippine Prudential Life gives back to others, and this is just one of its examples. And because it upholds being a responsible corporate citizen, it also gives support to charities such as the Gawad Kalinga and the Dynamic Team Company.
