How to Store Propane Bottles
- 1). Close the valve on the propane bottle. Cap the valve opening.
- 2). Lay a concrete paver or a similar nonflammable, solid object on a level section of ground. Choose a location away from cooking grills or other appliances that reach high temperatures.
- 3). Stand the propane tank upright on the paver.
