- 1). Rinse any food particles or debris from the sink with a stiff spray of water after each use. Wipe water droplets off the sink to avoid creating water spots.
- 2). Clean water spots and light soil with a wet rag moistened with liquid detergent soap. Scrub in circular motions to clean. Rinse away all of the soap residue, then wipe the sink dry. If stubborn dirt, hard-water spots or other stains remain, move on to Step 3.
- 3). Moisten a nylon scrubbing sponge with white vinegar and scrub the hard-water deposits and stains away. Rinse the sink clean and wipe it dry. If hard-water stains still remain, scrub a few more times. If there are still stubborn stains in the sink's bowl, move on to Step 4.
- 4). Fill the sink with warm water. Add 1/2 cup of bleach to the water and leave it for 30 minutes. Drain the sink. Scrub the still-wet sink with the scrubbing sponge. Rinse away all bleach residue, then wipe the sink dry.
