The Law of Attraction For Writers
By now most people on this planet have heard about The Secret, which is basically the Law of Attraction.
This Law of Attraction really relates to writers and writing.
I see it all the time.
Writers GET what they expect.
They attract exactly what they are focused on.
But here's the ironic part.
Most writers are expecting to fail rather than looking for ways to succeed.
That is, they are focused on what they DON'T want rather than what they DO want.
Like I said, I see it - and hear it in their voices and complaints - all the time.
In some cases, they'd rather be right in their belief that "I just can't make a living as a freelance writer.
I've tried before and it didn't work" than they are in developing a mindset where failure is NOT an option.
You do truly get or attract what you expect, or what you believe you'll get.
So the trick to success is to start believing or expecting you will be successful.
Realize that, along the way, you may have to try harder, do things a bit differently, constantly monitor the effectiveness of your actions, but the ONE, BIG difference in your success that you can CHANGE right now is your expectation.
Start EXPECTING to be successful.
Then, do all you can to make that happen, all the while having FAITH that it IS going to happen.
That's The Law of Attraction for Writers as I see it and live it.
