• The project of comedian Jeff Beacher, Beacher's Madhouse at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino has a reputation for being one of Las Vegas's nuttiest nights out. Here, you will encounter cross dressing performance artists, fire-eaters, midgets and scantily clad women doing all sorts of outrageous things. In addition, the crowd itself is something of a spectacle, as people get dressed up in outrageous outfits to come party here---including quite a few cross dressers.

• Centrally located, within walking distance of the Hard Rock Hotel, University of Nevada at Las Vegas and the famous Las Vegas Strip, Freezone is an alternative nightclub open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is perhaps most famous for its "Queens of Las Vegas" show, which is held every Friday and Saturday night at 10 p.m. and features some of Las Vegas's most renowned and talented transvestites. Cross-dressing among patrons is encouraged and frequent--baggy clothes, sports jerseys and knit hats might prevent you from entering.

Backdoor Lounge

• The Backdoor Lounge is a popular club with Las Vegas's gay community, and many transvestites hang out here. On Saturday nights, the Gelmi and Her Girls drag show is notorious; it takes place at midnight. The Backdoor Lounge is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Expect to pay a $5 cover (as of 2010) on the weekends; during the rest of the week, entrance is free. Finding the place is relatively easy, as the entrance features a kitschy pink wood façade.

• Piranha is a Las Vegas nightclub that features cross dressing performers on Friday and Saturday nights at 11:30 p.m. The shows are hosted by the legendary drag queen Coco Vegas.
