How to Adjust Rotary Mower Blades
- 1). Turn the back screws 1/16 of a turn counterclockwise to loosen the blades. Turn the front screws 1/16 of a turn clockwise.
- 2). Turn the front screws counterclockwise 1/16 of a turn to tighten the blades. Turn the back screws clockwise 1/16 of a turn.
- 3). Turn the reel mower upside down to check the adjustment. Insert a piece of paper in the mower and carefully push the blades with your hands to turn them. The mower should cut through the paper neatly. If it doesn't, readjust the blades as previously indicated.
