Lake Cabins around Helena, Montana

      Helena is the capital city of Montana and the county seat of Lewis and Clark County. Founded during the gold rush in 1864, the city retains much of its historical flavor, with a main street named Last Chance Gulch and a well-preserved historic downtown district. Outdoor recreation is available all year roundm with activities in boating, fishing and hunting, hiking, biking, skiing and golf.

    • Situated six miles north of Townsend and 25 miles southeast of Helena, at the southern end of Canyon Ferry Lake, the Canyon Ferry Lake KOA offers numerous outdoor recreation activities. These include swimming, boating and fishing during the summer; and hunting and ice fishing in winter. At the campground there are several one- and two-room cabins furnished with table and chairs, sleeping bag platforms and wall-mounted heater. There are also RV sites, tent sites and furnished apartment suites. Campground amenities include a bathroom and shower facility, children's playground, and permanent marina docks. There is also a recreation room with a pool table and free high-speed Wi-Fi. There's a fully stocked convenience store open on site all year around, and a quality restaurant open for business during the summer season.

    Walker Creek Retreat

    • Nestled at the base of MacDonald Pass near Helena, Montana, is the Walker Creek Retreat.     • Located 20 miles east of historic Helena, Montana, on Canyon Ferry Lake, Kim's Marina & Resort is a sportsperson's paradise if sailing, power boating, jet skiing, swimming, fishing, hiking or biking is your passion.
