Solving this proportion results in the formula:
Value in angstrom = Value in meters x 1E10.
Example: calculate 0.00000038 meters in angstroms.
0.00000038 meters x 1E10 = 3800 angstroms. - 2). Express nanometers in meters and define angstrom in nanometers. Note that the prefix "nano-" corresponds to the magnitude of 1E-9 (see Resources).
1 nanometer = 1E-9 meters.
