Saginaw Art Museum's Children's Art Festival

Old Saginaw City Lawn Chair Film Festival

    • Throughout the summer, the Lawn Chair Film Festival presents free movies starting at dusk every Sunday. Films include a mix of classic, blockbuster, Oscar winners, and surprises. Different musical acts entertain the crowd until sunset, when the films begin. Be sure to bring your own lawn chair.

    Riverside Saginaw Film Festival

    • The historic Temple Theatre is host to the annual Riverside Saginaw Film Festival, which runs each November for four days. Featuring independent and lesser-known major releases, the festival presents an opportunity to view films that do not always make the giant multiplexes. Narratives, documentaries, and short films are all shown during the festival. The theatre's Leopard Lounge serves moviegoers food during the festival beyond the normal popcorn and soda, and hosts discussions and other events surrounding the films.
