How to Troubleshoot Samsung HL-T5075S
- 1). Check all of the input connections for loose connections between the connector and the jack it's plugged into if you are experiencing a rolling image on your screen. Push all of the connectors firmly into the jacks. Alternatively, if you are experiencing what appears to be a discolored image on the screen, ensure that all of the connectors are plugged into a matching-colored jack within the designated input.
- 2). Disconnect the the TV's power cable from the AC outlet it's plugged into if your TV is doing funny things, such as adjusting the volume or changing the channel on its own. Leave the TV unplugged for at least 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Alternatively, if the TV is initiating functions on the remote control without your pressing the corresponding button on the remote, check to ensure the batteries in the remote control are not almost dead or that the remote control is not malfunctioning.
- 3). Change the channel or switch inputs if you are experiencing audio problems or problems with the screen to ensure this is a problem with the TV and not a problem with that specific channel or source device. If there is a problem with a source device, make sure all cables are firmly connected to both the device and the TV and are connected to the appropriate jacks. If you are experiencing audio or visual problems with a channel you are pulling in using an antenna, move the antenna to different locations to see if you can pull in a better signal.
