Panamax MX5102 - Front View LED Displays On - Battery Backup Display Function
Here is a closer look at the left side of the Panamax MX5102 front panel, which shows the power button and LED power indicators for each bank of active outlets as well as a Wiring OK LED that indicates if the wiring is properly grounded.
Moving to the right of the status indicators is the Display Dimmer/UPS Test Button.
The Dimming Button/UPS Test Button can dim or increase (in several steps) the light of the display.
This is handy if you find that the lit-up display is too distracting, especially in a darkened room.
On the right side of the photo is a close-up view of the Digital Voltmeter/UPS Status Display. However, this photo shows the UPS Status display function. The Display shows how many minutes are left when power has been interrupted and only backup battery power is functioning.
Keep in mind that amount of time you have to shut down your components safely also depends on how much power the connected components draw from the battery backup. The display will count down the minutes until your power runs out. The battery backup will then start recharging once AC power is restored.
