How to Make a Foot Spa

    • 1). Fill your bathtub or a small basin with hot water.

    • 2). Add a few drops of essential oil, body wash, bath salts or anything else you'd like. Common ingredients include rosemary, lavender, Epsom salts, lemon slices and honey. There are no hard or fast rules, so feel free to customize the ingredients to your tastes and needs.

    • 3). Place your feet into the water and soak for 15 minutes. Take this time to relax and let your mind wander. There's nothing to do and nowhere you need to be.

    • 4). Remove your feet from the soak and slough off the dead skin using a pumice stone, a sea salt scrub or your favorite exfoliant. Rinse your feet and pat dry with a clean towel.

    • 5). Moisturize your feet with foot lotion. You may want to give yourself a pedicure at this time.
