- 1). Put the rubber gloves on so you can get some protection from the chemicals in the calcium, lime and rust remover.
- 2). Apply the calcium, lime and rust remover to the rusted spots on the tub and allow it to sit on the surface for about a minute or two.
- 3). Wipe the calcium, lime and rust remover away from the rusted spot. The stain may be removed at this point, but if not, proceed forward.
- 4). Reapply the cleaner. Scrub the stain using the scuffing pad side of the sponge and then wipe away the cleaner. This should completely clean the rust away.
- 5). Rinse off the cleaner from the area using the water from the tub.
