How to Program a Mitsubishi Eclipse Remote

    • 1). Find the data port under your driver's side dashboard. You can find this by removing the paneling on the right side of the steering wheel. The port is a small black box with eight terminals on either side. Use the jumper wires to connect the number 1 and number 4 terminals on the port by closing the jumper wire prongs on both the 1 and 4 terminals.

    • 2). Press the Hazard button on your car six times within the next ten seconds and wait for the door locks to automatically click.

    • 3). Press the Lock button on your keyless remote three times within the next ten seconds and wait for the locks to click again.

    • 4). Repeat the previous step with any additional remotes, pressing the lock button three times on each remote, doing it within ten seconds of the previous remote and waiting for the locks to click each time.

    • 5). Disconnect the jumper wires to end the sequence.
