How to Embed a Yahoo Calendar Into a Website
- 1). Create a Yahoo account and open to the Yahoo mail page. Click the "Calendar" tab at the top of the page.
- 2). Select the calendar's URL below the calendar (left-click the mouse and roll the cursor over the URL while holding down the click) and copy it (type: control+C). The URL should read "http://calendar.yahoo.com/yourusername."
- 3). Open your website's Web builder program or the HTML file creator program. Find the webpage where the calendar will display and paste the calendar's URL (type: control+V) into the space on the page where you want your website visitors to see the calendar's link.
- 4). Return to the Yahoo calendar. Add events, activities and updates to the calendar by clicking on the "add event" button at the upper left of the date for which you want to add information. When you have added the update, click the "add" button at the bottom of the page. The update will appear on the website to which the Yahoo calendar has been embedded.
