Bajaj Auto Limited is a very important player in the Indian two-wheeler industry providing tough competition to the Hero and Honda brands.

The Bajaj Discover with a sales figure of 49,551 units for August 2014 is another popular bike with 100 cc, 125 cc and 150cc variants priced from Rupees 44001 to 58,739.
The Bajaj Discover 150DTSi is the cheapest Indian bike in 150 cc segment.
The Discover models give mileages from 72 kmpl to 84 kmpl.
The 100 cc variants have drum type brakes at both the ends and the 125 and 150 cc models disc brakes at the front and the drum type at the rear.
The 100 cc bike the Bajaj Platina comes with prices of Rupees 36,784 and 38,774 for the two variants.
The bike has an electric start in addition to the kick start.

The Bajaj Avenger introduced in 2005 with a 180 cc engine was upgraded to 200 cc and later to 220 cc.
