The Interstellar Premiere Was Out Of This World Thanks To These Three Stars...
The premiere of Christopher Nolan’s eagerly anticipated Interstellar took place in Los Angeles last night and all I can say is the red carpet was out of this world! Stars like Anne Hathaway, Camilla Alves and Jessica Chastain paraded moody hues of slate, black and midnight blue in front of flashing lights, while Hathaway took the galactic theme of the evening one step further with her truly enchanting hand jewelry.
An accessory that was befitting enough for a space odyssey, Hathaway modeled a celestial James Banks Designs necklace (once again worn backwards) and bracelet covered in gold, bronze, and silver stars. Perfectly complimenting her slinky and sexy Richard Nicoll floor-length slip dress, the ritzy bauble draped itself across the back of Hathaway’s perfectly manicured hand, held in place by only a couple of rings.
I personally love these hand jewels and, while Rihanna may show off a similar (albeit permanent) effect with her Maori hand tattoos, Hathaway’s addition is a fun way to play with the look without major commitment. For the rest of her space-inspired ensemble, Hathaway teamed her fluid dress with a kempt tousled bob, a smoky eye and nude lips.
Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway’s Interstellar co-star, Jessica Chastain, showed off an equally cosmic look as she donned an inky black custom long-sleeved dress by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy. One defining feature of the dress was a sexy open back and high-sided thigh split, which was delicately covered with black lace.
She accessorized her look with a severe side part in her flaming hair, red lip and an oversized pair of green earrings by Fred Leighton.
Not to be left out, Camilla Alves – who was there to support hubby Matthew McConaughey -- opted for a liquid-shine gunmetal strapless gown from Rubin Singer’s Fall 2014 collection. She accessorized the astronomic creation with drop earrings and a slicked back low bun with a sleek side part.
Three gorgeous women, three cosmic looks, one masterpiece movie, but the question still remains – who do you think did the intergalactic look best?
