• Scrapbooking events are a great way for you and your scrapbooking friends to share new layouts, pages and ideas. Setting up games for your scrapbook crops, such as playing scrapbook bingo or holding competitions for the best template, also provides an opportunity for your guests to interact and bond while learning new and different decorating ideas.
  
  

Crop Party

• Hosting a scrapbook crop party can be held at your residence or at a specific location. You may opt to offer your scrapbooking tools to your guests or, if you have new types of supplies or embellishments for sale, you can have your guests experiment with open samples and purchase at the end of the crop. Bring supplies, such as scissors, adhesives, rubber stamps and punches. Offer a special prize for the scrapbooker who develops the best template or new page layout.
  
  

Grab Bag Prizes

• List interesting scrapbooking themes on separate sheets of paper and place them in a grab bag. Think beyond the usual themes. You might include themes such as the day after Thanksgiving or your first day at a new job or career. Ask each scrapbooker to take a sheet of paper and to develop a page and layout around that idea. Offer prizes, such as decorative scissors or a mini die cutter for the best scrapbooking layout or page design.
  
  

Contests and Games

• Hold a scrapbook bingo game with rubber stamps. Make sure everyone has supplies. Have the bingo cards, rubber stamps and ink pads set up for the game. Hand out paper number tickets at the door when your guests enter and hold a scrapbooking raffle. Give a small prize for the called number holder. Have mini album giveaways for the first scrapbooker who completes a layout. Have your invited guests come up with their own game or contest ideas and submit them before your event. Select the top three ideas. Hold a secret ballot vote at the crop and give a scrapbooking supply kit for the best concept as the prize.
  
  You can also opt to have a reality television show style game. Have your guests develop a scrapbooking page challenge within a designated amount of time. Once the layouts are complete, have a vote and see which design leaves the last scrapbooker standing.
