"Star Wars: Droids" Episode Guide

Star Wars: Droids ran for a single season in 1985, plus a one-hour special episode in 1986. It was re-aired, along with the second season of Ewoks, as part of the cartoon block Ewoks and Star Wars Droids Adventure Hour.

1. The White Witch (September 7, 1985)


After their former master dumps them on the backwater planet Ingo, R2-D2 and C-3PO are rescued by Jord Dusat and Thall Joben, a pair of speeder racers.

When crime lord Tig Fromm captures Jord to keep him from revealing a secret superweapon, the droids, along with Kea Moll, must save him.

2. Escape Into Terror (September 14, 1985)


After losing their hyperdrive and landing on Annoo to visit Kea's mother, the droids discover that Kea is a Rebel spy. Kea, Thall and the droids attempt to destroy the superweapon on Ingo, Trigon One, in order to save Annoo from the Fromm Gang.

3. The Trigon Unleashed (September 21, 1985)


R2-D2 and Thall set off to destroy the Trigon One. When Sise kidnaps Kea's mother and Jord, however, Thall must give up the location of the superweapon. Thankfully, Thall has a trick up his sleeve: R2-D2's brilliant plan to destroy both the superweapon and the Fromm Gang's headquarters.

4. A Race to the Finish (September 28, 1985)


Thall enters the White Witch in a speeder race on the planet Boonta. Wanting revenge for the destruction of Trigon One, Sise Fromm hires bounty hunter Boba Fett to capture them. Boba Fett enters the race and attempts to sabotage Thall's efforts.

5. The Lost Prince (October 5, 1985)


After leaving their old masters, R2-D2 and C-3PO attempt to sell themselves on the mining planet Tyne's Horky. After a young miner, Jann Tosh, rescues them and a work android from a cruel new master, they discover that the android is actually an alien in disguise.

6. The New King (October 12, 1985)


Freighter captain Jessica Meade transports the lost prince Mon Julpa back to his planet, Tammuz-an. Attacked by pirates, they receive unexpected help from bounty hunter IG-88. But when Jessica is captured by the evil vizier, Zatec-Cha, Jann, C-3PO and R2-D2 must rescue her.

7. The Pirates of Tarnoonga (October 19, 1985)


While Jessica and the droids are transporting supplies to King Mon Julpa, they are captured by the pirate Gir Kybo Ren-Cha, who plans to make Jessica his consort. Jann follows the pirates to the planet Tarnoonga, where the pirates conspire to attack Tammuz-an.

8. The Revenge of Kybo Ren (October 26, 1985)


Mon Julpa attempts to make peace with his rival, Lord Toda. The plan gets complicated when the pirates kidnap Toda's daughter, Gerin. Toda blames Mon Julpa, and the others must rescue Gerin to clear his name.

9. Coby and the Starhunters (November 2, 1985)


C-3PO, R2-D2 and Jann escort Prince Coby, Lord Toda's son, to join the Rebel Alliance. On their way, Coby's pet is stolen by the Starhunters, a traveling menagerie. In their attempt to rescue the pet, they crash land on a jungle planet whose natives, the Fuzzums, are being kidnapped and sold into slavery.

10. Tail of the Roon Comets (November 9, 1985)


Mungo Baobab attempts to find a safe route to the Roon system, hoping that establishing a trade route for precious Roonstones will save his family's struggling merchant fleet. However, Governor Koong, head of the space station near Roon, is planning to ally with the Empire for control of the system.

11. The Roon Games (November 16, 1985)


Governor Koong plans to compete in the Roon Colonial Games in order to secure rule of the planet and possession of the Roonstones. After crash landing on the planet, Mungo and the droids must help their rescuer Auren Yomm compete in the Roon Games against Koong's team.

12. Across the Roon Sea (November 23, 1985)


Auren offers to lead Mungo to someone who can help him find the source of the Roonstones. When Mungo values riches above friendship, however, he leads to their recapture by the Imperials, who are also seeking the Roonstone source.

13. The Frozen Citadel (November 30, 1985)


Mungo attempts once again to uncover the source of the Roonstones, but Koong unleashes a deadly plague on Roon which affects Auren's mother. When Koong himself gets infected, he kidnaps Auren and her father to manufacture a cure.

Special: The Great Heep (June 7, 1986)


In a prequel to the Mungo Baobab episodes, Mungo discovers a fuel source on Biitu and a giant Imperial droid, Great Heep, captures him. When C-3PO and R2-D2 arrive to meet their new master, they must rescue him and save the planet with the help of Fidge, a young Biituian boy.
