How to Open the i880 Motorola
- 1). Hold the "Power" button beneath the "Asterisk" key for a few seconds. The phone turns off. Disconnect the battery charger cord, if necessary.
- 2). Close the flip screen and turn the phone over. Slide the battery cover release button away from the phone until the cover detaches.
- 3). Slide the cover forward and lift it off the phone, revealing the battery.
- 4). Push the battery toward the top of the phone and pry it out of its cavity. The SIM card is revealed.
- 5). Lift the metal SIM card holder up and to the right. It hinges near the right side of the phone. Slide the SIM card out of its holder. The Motorola i880 is now open.
