With the cost of a college degree on the rise, more and more students are turning to scholarship funding to help offset some of the expense. If you're a member of an underrepresented minority group who is enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited degree program, there are many scholarships that can help make your educational goals achievable. - Microsoft sponsors a scholarship program for underrepresented minority students who are enrolled in degree programs for computer science, computer engineering or related fields. The program is open to students of African-American, Native American or Hispanic descent who have an interest in a career in the computer software field, leadership potential and financial need. Students may receive either partial or full scholarships and all applicants also have the opportunity to be selected for a paid summer internship position at Microsoft.
