Painting Glass, Plastic or Porcelain Jars

• 1). Prepare the jar by washing it with warm soap and water. Towel dry.
  
  
• 2). Apply a coat of gray paint primer to the surface of the jar that is to be painted. Allow to dry completely per label instructions.
  
  
• 3). Paint over the primer using the acrylic paints and a small paint brush. Allow to dry completely per label instructions.
  
  
• 4). Paint or spray a coat of clear paint on the jar, covering the entire surface. Allow to dry before putting the jar into use.
  
  

Stained Glass Curse Jars

• 1). Prepare the jar by washing it with warm soap and water. Towel dry.
  
  
• 2). Apply a layer of glue to the surface of the jar and cover immediately with torn bits of tissue paper.
  
  
• 3). Apply a coat of clear paint to the entire surface of the jar once the glue dries.
