How to Change Your Masterlock Combo
- 1). Enter the existing combination into the lock--if the lock is factory-new, the default combination is "0-0-0."
- 2). Open the lock and rotate the locker bar 90 degrees counter-clockwise, so the notch on the locker bar is aligned with the similar notch on the shackle body.
- 3). Press the locker bar down into the lock and turn the locker bar counter-clockwise another 90 degrees. The locker bar should now be locked into the lock body and not be able to be lifted up without rotating back.
- 4). Turn the combination dials to your desired combination sequence. Make sure you memorize or record this combination somewhere, because you will not be able to change to a new one without first entering this combination again.
- 5). Rotate the locker bar 180 degrees clockwise to unlock it. The new combination will now work to unlock the Masterlock.
