How to Make a Mini Skee-ball Game
- 1). Cut out one of the short sides of the shoebox so that you're left only with the long sides and one short side. To put the shoebox onto a tilt, glue two sides of cardboard together at a right angle and glue or tape to the bottom of the shoebox.
- 2). Cut out another piece of cardboard, preferably the lid of the original shoebox. This piece of cardboard should fit right at the top of the box and be folded down at a 45-degree angle. This will be where the ball goals will be. Once you're sure it will fit, draw out the skee graphics and punch holes large enough for a marble to fit through each. This may only leave room enough for three or four holes. Color or paint as you'd like. Label how many points each hole is worth. You can add elements like stickers or glitter to make it even more decorated.
- 3). Attach a smaller box to the side of the game with hot glue or tape. This could be a cheap necklace box or something even smaller. This will be where the marbles are held. Start by shooting the marbles up the ramp, trying to get them into the holes. Add up your points. Once the marbles have all gone in the holes, take out the folded skee piece and take the marbles out. Put the folded piece back into place and play as many times as you'd like.
