Using Blackjack

• 1). Power on your Samsung Blackjack by pressing and holding down the power button. When you are ready to power off your phone you will also press and hold down the power button.
  
  
• 2). Customize your phone settings by selecting "Start" and "Settings." To customize display settings such as the screensaver and wallpaper, select "Display." To customize call settings, such as ring tones, select "Profiles."
  
  
• 3). Add contacts to your address book by selecting the "Contacts" option from the main screen. From the contacts menu you can also edit and delete existing contacts.
  
  
• 4). Place a phone call by dialing the number and pressing the green phone button. To turn the speaker phone on during the call, press and hold the green phone button. Press and hold the green phone button again to deactivate speakerphone.
  
  
• 5). End the phone call by pressing the red phone key. You can also press and hold the red phone key to lock your phone when you are not on a call.
  
  
• 6). Adjust your volume while you are on a call by pressing the volume arrow keys that are located on the side of your phone. If you're not on a call, you can also press the volume arrows to adjust ringer volume.
  
  
• 7). Press the message button that is on the bottom of your phone's keypad to access your messaging system, such as text messages and other email messages.
  
  
• 8). Check your voicemail by pressing and holding the "1" key. When first accessing your voicemail, you will have to perform an initial setup of your voicemail center options.
