The 8Must-Do"s For Small Spaces

Design dilemmas seem to be a part of every home.
From limited budgets, clashing ideas and small spaces.
Here are our top 8 must-do's for small spaces: 1.
Make a huge "green" statement.
Don't be afraid to think big in your small space.
Green foliage adds coziness to a room & looks almost like a work of art in a room.
2.
Use the whole floor-to-ceiling space.
Go for open, modular bookcases that goes sky high.
Display your favorite books, magazines or those one-of-a-kind artifacts from your wonderful travels.
3.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, floor, tabletop, etc.
I know this design idea is so overused but it's because it works! Don't go overboard though.
Look for 1 or 2 mirrored pieces and place them strategically across the nicest angles of your space.
4.
Round about.
Your boxy space needs a curvier angle.
It allows your guests to move much more freely.
5.
Make it invisible.
Lucite is everywhere.
Ghostly pieces creates the illusion that nothing's there and light just goes through.
They're incredibly chic too!.
6.
Think big art.
Your space will be magnified by a big piece of art adorning your main wall.
7.
Get furniture that does double duty.
A storage ottoman, a folding ladder that can be turned into a chair, a stool that can also double as a bedside table.
8.
Go sectional.
In a small space, you can't afford to have a large sofa or overstuffed chairs.
A sectional makes sense, scatter a couple of floor pillows and get stackable chic stools and you're ready to entertain.
As you can see, it's not hard to be stylish and chic in that small space.
