Great Niagara Falls Campgrounds

There are numerous Niagara Falls Campgrounds to choose from, on both sides of the border.
Niagara Falls is one of the most visited attractions in the United States, with millions of visitors a year.
Some of them come for the majestic views, some come to have their wedding and honeymoon, others think they can go over the falls in a barrel.
This is not only dangerous, but illegal, so if you survive, you get to spend some time in jail.
For those that come here for the beauty, or the activities, (legal,) then here are a few of the many campgrounds you can choose from.
Of course an American icon wouldn't be complete without mentioning the KOA campground.
There is one on both sides of the border, and here you will find much to offer.
One of the things you will find here is a number of different sites, tent sites, RV sites with partial as well as full hook ups.
There are camping cabins that you can rent, some large enough to accommodate a whole family.
You will find many amenities as well, from a well stocked store, hot showers, game room, seasonal swimming pools, and more.
This well groomed campground is just minutes away from the falls themselves.
Another one of the many Niagara Campgrounds to choose from is the Branches of Niagara, Resort and Campground.
If you are bringing your children, there are numerous activities for them.
There are many different shady tent spots, RV pads with full hookups and amenities, as well as cabins for rent.
There is not only a heated pool, but an 8 acre lake to canoe, swim in and even catch and release fishing.
There is a number of rentals available, from bikes, canoes and paddle boats, all available at their fully stocked general store.
Local attractions include visits to the Falls, Jet boat Tours, the Butterfly Conservatory, and the Skylong Tower, standing a majestic 775 feet above the falls.
These are just a few of the many reasons people come here again and again.
Located on the Canadian side of the border, just minutes from Niagara Falls is one of the most beloved Niagara Falls campgrounds, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park.
This campground and RV park has it all, and it is totally family oriented campground.
There are many different and excellent campsites for tent campers, RV pads with full hookups, and they are just minutes away from some of the greatest local attractions, from Niagara Falls, Marineland, Maid of the Mist, the Grand Canyon Golf Resort, and many more.
Some of the on-site activities include laundry, hot showers, two pools, daily activities that are supervised by friendly staff, and even a new mini golf course.
Also included here for Niagara Falls Campgrounds is the Niagara County Camping Resort.
This is located in Lockport, only a few miles from the Erie Canal, and just a twenty minute drive from the Falls themselves.
This campground has camping tent sites, RV sites, and offers a number of amenities, from phone, high speed internet, playgrounds, swimming, fishing and even a golf course.
Nearby you have sightseeing tours, water slide parks, and golfing.
There are just too many great organized activities for the whole family, and a stop at their own petting zoo is a must see.
