How do you kill termites? I have an answer, but I already know some of you are going to get mad at me, but it's okay.
It's kind of like the dentist telling you that you need to brush more often.
You hate to hear it, but is good to be reminded.
Why might you get mad at me? For telling you that termites are nothing to play around with, and you should consider calling in a professional termite company.
It's the truth.
Termites in the United States are an army that can take down your house, bite, by bite.
Don't think that your over-the-counter sprays are going to put a dent into these guys.
So what do professionals have you cannot get to kill termites? Non-repellents.
This is how you kill termites.
Non-repellents are a category of insecticides that use the termites natural instincts of being social.
Since they touch each other to communicate and clean each other, non-repellents in the hands of a pest control professional is like a stealth fighter against a termite colony.
How does it kill the termites? By the product being transferred from one to another.
Most times this type of insecticide will have a delayed reaction intentionally.
It can take up to three months or more for the entire colony to die.
But the good news is, you won't run them off to the neighbors! I know you might want to do an internet search now, trying to find some non-repellents to kill termites.
But let me warn you, most termiticide chemical companies prohibit the sale or termite product to the public for the very reason that one could easily contaminate a well, are some other food-water source.
Additionally, without training, you will not know where to drill, trench, or rod.

Yes, you must drill, trench or rod with special equipment.
