Bar Cookies Made With Cake Mixes
- Combine 1 package (18.5 oz) chocolate cake mix with 2/3 cup melted butter and 1 cup sweetened condensed milk. The mixture will be pretty thick. Pat half of it into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking oil. Sprinkle 2 regular sized Snicker bars, that have been chopped into small pieces, over the top. Pat in the remaining cookie mixture and then sprinkle two more chopped Snicker bars over the top. Bake the cookies in a 350 degree F preheated oven for 20 minutes. Pull the pan out of the oven and sprinkle ½ cup milk chocolate chips over the top, bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove the cookie bars from the oven and cool, cut and enjoy.
- Set your oven for 350 degrees F, to preheat. Use a 9 x 13-inch baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking oil. In a mixing bowl, pour in 1 (18.5 oz) yellow cake mix with ½ cup chopped peanuts, mix. Add 1 cup evaporated milk and 2/3 cup peanut butter to the mixture, stir. When the mixture is well blended, pour it into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle chopped peanut butter cups over the top. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool the cake mix cookie bars before cutting.
- In a big mixing bowl, pour in 1 (18.5 oz) French vanilla cake mix with 1½ cups of regular oats (used for oatmeal), stir. Mix in ¾ cup melted butter and mix well. Pat the thick mixture into a 9 x 13 inch oil sprayed baking pan, retaining a quarter cup. Pour 1 (12 oz.) can of cherry pie filling over the top. Sprinkle the quarter cup of cookie mix over the top, along with ¼ cup slivered almonds. Bake in a 350 degree F preheated oven. Cool before cutting and eating.
